Hi all from Oregon- Happy Holy Days and Warmest Regards to the far flung Mims family! 2003 has been a very challenging year having experienced my 50th birthday, extended unemployment, the deaths of my father, two friends and two beloved pets. Now we're losing our home. It's not been totally bad either as we got a wonderful Granddaughter, a new puppy and the support of marvelous family and friends this year also. Won't be concentrating on geneological research in the forseeable future as job and home will be focus. Nevertheless, if anyone learns more about Colonel Matthew Mims of Georgia, b. 10/08/1813, and his parentage, I'd really appreciate knowing about it.
