Thomas Jefferson Mims is my great-grandfather. His daughter Ida Pearl Mims Gilley is my grandmother. I have his birthday as May 27, 1861 death as January 12, 1927. I got the death date from my grandmother's bible and off his gravestone at Goodwater Cemetery. I do have more information and will share. I am only a collector of this information lots of it came from my great-aunt Maggie and my mother. None is verified except from these sources and talking to lots of people that knew him and his family. Have hit a wall passed him. I would love to make a connection to his father.
