GA father's name is John Mims (Jones Co Inventories Records show the "Estate of John Mims, decs."), mother Anna (Edwards, family Bible), 3 other heirs of the estate, Needham, Henry, and Sally(could be Sarah)...... It appears that John's father is Linah Mims, and his father would be Thomas. Question is.....how can I prove (reasonably) that John's father is Joseph, and his father is Linah? Does anyone have any documentation? If what I think is true, then this is what I plan to put on tee-shirts for each of us (change the top name as appropriate).... for our family reunion at Mims Chapel in Marion Co.
