I am trying to flesh out my husband's Mims line. >From notes of his grandmother (who had an old family Bible) I find that he is descended from William Albert Mims Jr, who was born about 1835 in Greene County, Tenn. In 1859 he married Jaly Elizabeth Gilette, born in Cocke County, Tenn. They moved to Erath County, Texas, sometime after 1865.
