Currently researching the two Mims lines that married Clopton Family members. One is for Livingston Mims' wife, Martha Perrin. Her father, William Perrin married Mary Clopton, born Nov. 13, 1737, dau. of William and Cassandra Clopton. Mary Clopton is the fourth generation from William and Ann Booth Clopton. This William was a Clerk of St. Peter's Church, New Kent Co., Virginia. The second is for David Mims, Jr. married to Martha Duiguid, dau. of Ann Moss and William Duiguid. This Martha Duiguid, the fourth generation from William Clopton, Clerk of St. Peter's Church, New Kent Co., Virginia.
