    1. Re: [MIMS,MIMMS,MIMBS] Drury Shadrach Woodson Mimms
    2. Woody Mims
    3. Hi all I believe that I too am from this line. My son (Eric Wood Mims), I (Staley Wood Mims, III), my father (Staley Wood Mims, Jr.) and grandfather (Staley Wood Mims) all derive our middle names from the Woodson family. We are descended from Col. Matthew Mims of Twiggs Co. GA born October, 1813. I and several others descended from Matthew have hit a blank wall going further than Matthew, a condition that has persisted for 40 years that I know of. Has anyone uncovered any links to this family line? Woody Mims Eugene, OR PS - Should anyone wish to know, my father passed away September 7, 2003 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas and is buried at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. PPS - My granddaughter, Ruby Ember Mims was born May 26, 2003 in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon born to Eric Wood Mims and Mercedes Munden. Lilly wrote: >Thank you Billie. This is my family line.
