I found the grave of Lucius C. Mims here in Houston and was wondering if anyone has anything in thier files on him. I found on LDS.ORG that in the 1880 census he is listed with his parents Alfred J. Mims age 41 born in SC, Euphame Mims age 36 born in SC, Lucius Mims 11, SC, Julian Mims 9, SC and Alfred's mother in law Ann R. Patterson 70, SC. Lucius died on April 30, 1891 at the age of 22 years old which I have from the tombstone. The folks at the cemetery said they have him as being from Charleston, SC. The cemetery lot has a few different names in it most are infants or children. Here are some of the last names: Ingram; Millner; Payton; McKee; White. Any help would be appreciated.
