    3. People mentioned below: SHADRACK MIMS (b. 1764?-d. 1807 Lincoln Co. GA) One of the executors of the estate of Henry Ware, Sr’.(16 November 1802) in Lincoln Co. GA. Married Elizabeth Kirkham Ayers. Shadrack was in Wilkes Co. GA as early as 1793 in a part that became Lincoln Co. in 1796. Deeds indicate his land was located on the Savannah River. ELIZABETH KIRKHAM AYERS MIMS (b. 1758 VA d. Twiggs Co. GA 1814) SEABORN MIMS, son of Shadrack and Elizabeth MIMS, was adm’r of the estate of Shadrack. It appears that they left Lincoln Co. GA and moved to Twiggs along with their JEMISON uncle and cousins. Before 1820 Seaborn Mims moved to AL. His sister, Mary "Polly" MIMS married JAMES WARE and they remained in Twiggs. They are buried in Old Richland Baptist Church cemetery in Twiggs Co. GA. WILLIAM JEMISON (JIMMERSON, JAMERSON) was married to Shadrack’s daughter, Sarah "Sally" Mims. _____________________________________________________________- The Georgia Journal (Milledgeville, Georgia) 13 November 1814 (p. ?, last column on the right) Will be Sold, on Tuesday the 16th day of January, next at the late residence of Elizabeth Mims, deceased: the following property viz:--THIRTEEN NEGROES, consisting of men, women and children, horses, hogs, cows and sheep, corn and fodder, household and kitchen furniture, and wheat, and a number of other articles too tedious to mention, it being part of the estate of Shadrack Mims, dec’d. Terms of sale made known on the day of sale, the sale to continue from day to day till all is sold. Seaborn Mims, Adm’r November 28 6—6t Same column- three notices down the page: GEROGIA, Twiggs County Whereas William Jemison hath applied for letters of administration on the estate and effects of Elizabeth Mims, late of said county, dec’d. These are therefore to cite and admonish all & singular the kindred & creditors of said deceased, to file their objections in the office within the time prescribed by law if any they have, otherwise letters of administration will be granted to him.
