    3. Hello, Your Alfred J. Mims is probably the following person in earlier census records: 1860 Charleston Co SC p265 E. R. Patterson (m) 21 SC Ann 50 Elizabeth 15 Mary 14 William Steel 27 A. J. Mims (m) 21 [probably Alfred J Mims] Robert Steel 10 1850 Charleston Co SC p419 Alexander Mims 34 SC Charlotte 20 [maybe error in age?] Mary 15 John J 9 [should be Alfred J, age 10/11] John 8 Manda 3 James O 1 Silas 6/12 I couldn't find Alfred and Euphame in 1870, but I only looked quickly. It seems that Alexander and/or his wife Charlotte died 1850-1860, so that Alfred was living with the Patterson family. Where were Alfred's siblings who were still underage? Unfortunately, I do not know the parents of Alexander. Hope this helps some. Ann Blomquist Orlando, FL Descendants of Alexander Mims 1. ALEXANDER1 MIMS was born c 1816 in SC. He married CHARLOTTE L. UNKNOWN c 1834 in prob SC. She was born c 1818 in SC. More About ALEXANDER MIMS: Fact 2: 1850, Charleston Co SC p419 Fact 3: 1860, Charleston Co SC, parents dead?
