    3. Janet, I don't have this, by John B. Mims. I would be interested in what it said about the Jesse James connection, since that is my family line involved (Robert Mimms of Russellville, Logan Co., KY) If you have time to read thru that section, and give me the hightlights. It should say Zeralda Amanda Mimms, d/o John Wilson Mimms, s/o Robert Mimms and Lucy Poor. Zeralda then married Jesse Woodson James. I just want to confirm what is written. I am most curious if it mentions the shared ancestry of Zeralda and Jesse, in that they were both descendants of Dr. John Woodson, the first Doctor in the American Colonies. The marriage of Shadrach Mimms and Elizabeth Woodson is the union which connected our line to Dr. John Woodson of Colonial fame.
