My wife is descended from him by his daughter Julia Ann. I've traced his political career in Virginia extensively, but have had no success with his ancestry. BTW, his tenure as president of the Council of State (which is why he acted as Lt. Gov. - there was no such office as Lt. Gov. at the time) is very interesting. He was acting as Lt. Gov. the week the British threatened Richmond in the War of 1812. Then, in the midst of a successful political career he simply vanished, apparently as he was moving to Kentucky. Terry Reigel
