    3. I also want to thank Terry and John for the copies they so graciously gave us. I also want to pick up from there and request help if anyone has sources on what I think is my line of Mims. I believe that my Mims family picks up from Thomas-4-e on page 17 (of John's copy) where it says David had 12 children and that he thinks Thomas equaled the achievement. Most of the rest that I have was given to me by Jeanne Flice and other list members but with few sources. Thomas-4-e married Catherine ? and they had 10 children. I have that Thomas died June 1826 with no place. One of their children was Shadrack Mims born abt 1767 in Barnwell, Bladen Co. NC and died 1813 with no place. One of their children was Shadrack Mims, born about 1767 in Barnwell, Bladen Col, NC, and died in 1813 with no place. In about 1784 he married Hannah Calhoun, born about 1767 in Barnwell, NC also but with no more information. I have one note that says Shadrack and Hannah moved to SC between 1790-1800 with Hannah's brothers, Dixon and Micajah, Jr. I show Shadrack and Hannah had 5 children, one being Captain Jesse Mims, born 5, March 1790 in Miller, SC. I find him in Escambia Co., FL on the 1830 census but don't know when he arrived. He married two McDavid sisters, Melinda (1825) and Jane (10 June 1849). Jesse and Melinda had 9 children, one being Lucy Adeline Mims, my Great Grandmother. Jesse died 19 Jun 1864 in Escambia, FL and is buried in the Vaughn Cem! etery, Molino, Fl. Also buried there with him are John L. (Larkin) Mims, 12 Dec. 1847 - 28 Feb 1864, his son and Shadrack Mims died 1863 - Died age 75 - who I believe to be his brother. If anyone has any sources or other information to establish the line from Thomas-4-e to Shadrack to Capt. Jesse Mims, I would appreciate them. Bob Campbell Birmingham, AL
