I am glad to hear that there is aa copy of the info on Leaves From the Mims Family Tree at Clayton Library, here in Houston. I was sent a copy of this several years ago from a Mims that lived in the Woodlands area. At that time, I was told that the only copy was in a library in Florida. Since I will have a couple of days off soon, I hope to go to the Clayton Library. I have not been since they started construction for the rail. I am interested in any info on the Mims and Cobb family. I know that my great grandfather, John Mims, his brothers Linah and Byron, along with the Cobb children, were living with the Tylers in the 1850 census. Jan Davis
Hello, Mims cousins, I believe that I found a copy at the Birmingham [AL] Public Library or the Library of VA. Unfortunately, I didn't copy all of the pages. I have 1-25, 31-33, 43-44. Overall, I think Sam Mims did a good job. We all make mistakes and there are some in the book, but I found it a good guide. Ann Blomquist Orlando, FL
