Hi John, I have a printed copy sent to me by another Mims researcher but would like to compare it to what you have. If you don't mind, please send me a copy. Jeannine Jackson, descended from Joseph, Martin, David Spivey, Jefferson Augustus, and William Floyd P. S. Regarding Cobbs, one of David Spivey Mims' daughters married Ammon Cobb in Warren County, GA.. Does anyone here know about these Cobbs? I believe some of them moved to Gordon County, GA with Jefferson and Susan Marian Fuller Mims in the 1850's or earlier. Jefferson and Susan named their oldest son Ammon Judson and I believe he was named after Ammon Cobb. Also, would like to know where the Judson came from. This son was killed in the War Between the States. BTW, I also have an application to DAR awaiting approval. Mine is on Martin Mims and since no other person has used him to apply - this will be a "new" ancestor. Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: <JVanZandt@aol.com> To: <MIMS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, January 10, 2004 1:15 PM Subject: [MIMS,MIMMS,MIMBS] Found Mims Leaves - Word Doc > Hello Group: > > For a copy of "Mims Leaves" please email me directly. > > This appears to be a complete transcribed copy including intro., five > generations and summary.
