I now have notebook after notebook. I do not know how far you live from Nashville but I have a journal that my uncle wrote years ago about life in Pikeville Ky. I cannot post on the internet. My cousin would kill me but if she would publish it we would all be millionaires. It is wonderful. He describes a mountain wedding, funeral, what they had to have stored for winter. Its about l00 handwritten pages. I forgot to tell you to look back and see all the information on Martin Mims that you sent to me. I thought we were poor as snakes but evidently he did pretty good. I imagine that his family suffered after his death. I am going to check some of the references that were given. Thanks again! It was like a late Christmas present.
