At ancestry.com under Family and Local Histories There is an article titled Kentucky History 1922- History of Kentucky Vol.4 Biographies. There is a mention of Linah Mims this is what it states "Robert L. Cobb married Cornelia Mims , born in Virginia in 1804. She died at Paducah Kentucky in 1877, only surviving her husband a few months. She was the daughter of Linah Mims at one time acting Governor of Virginia to fill out an unexpected term." not sure if this helps at all Deb
