    3. Betty, Did the census list the State where Wesley King was born? My Cole and Mims ancestors were from Darlington and Sumter District's SC. In the late 1800s, there was a community near present day Kingstree, SC known as Seloc. This is Coles spelled backward, also called Cole's Crossing in the early 1800s. Kingstree was in the Williamsburg, District. William King and Nancy A. Cole were married there about 1821. Soleo could be Seloc misspelled ! just a thought.
