I have been off of this list for some time. In fact, I have not been working on the Mims family for some time. Has anyone been able to find Calvin Mims on the 1860 or 1870 Census in Louisiana? He had to be in Louisiana, too many of his children were married during that time and some of his sons went into the Civil War from there. He should be been in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana.
