Hi Everyone, My name is Doris Cepeda and I am the grand-daughter of John L. Mimms, born in Richmond, VA (according to his death certificate, migrated north to New Hampshire around 1904, married and eventually died in Concord, NH 12/31/1934. I must admit that I have been very busy with work and home and have not had any time to devote to researching his family line in VA. The death certificate lists John L Mimms as his father and his mother's maiden name was Louisa, but this could also be her first name as records are not always accurate (this I have learned from researching my maternal family in NH).
