I am looking for the parents of William Mimbs. William was born around 1850 in GA. I do not know where. He married Lucinda Roberts, the daughter of Jackson Roberts, around 1868. William and Lucinda settled in Polk County, FL around 1879. Note: Lucinda's sisters were married around the same time as Lucinda and William were married. They are found in Sumter and Orange Counties in FL. But I cannot find William and Lucinda there! William and Lucinda had the following children: 1. David Jasper b. 1868 2. Charles M. b. 1872 3. Mary Frances b. 1878 4. George Washington b. 1880 5. Lillian Lavinia b. 1884 6. Zebedee Calvin b. 1885 William died in 1886. Lucinda died in 1917.
