C.), and Benjamin Manning. Ansley Moses eblisted CSA, made Captain of Co. D, 53rd Ga. Regt. After the war he taught school and in 1873 was elected to represent his county in the State Legislature. Served many years as deacon in Mt. Lebanon Baptist church. He married, Dec 30, 1851, Mary Ann Leavell, daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Hunter) Leavell.
