Yaha!! I found my George D. Mimms from Clarksville, Tn on the GEDCOM file!! He is the son of Shadrach Mims who was born in VA (but died in Todd County, KY.). I'm excited. Even saw a record of his marriage to Sally Wisdom in 1849.
