He had a son named JOHN RILEY who lived in Teague,Texas. He was president of First National Bank there. Mary Mims,widow of Needham - 1860 was living with daughter Eliza, and son- in-law, John Riley. Mary was 85 yrs old and died 2 years later. CULLEN MIMS, son of Needham Mims, born Jan 28,1801 and died May 11, 1869 in Monroe Co,Alabama. He married Cynthia,dtr of Wm Britton Mims. They were double first cousins. Cynthia was born Jan 11, 1802 and died Dec 14, 1869 in Monroe Co,Alabama. Both born in NC. After he died, Margaret married Mr Watson. He died and she married John Simpkins. She only had 1 child, David Cullen Mims. She is buried at Bursonville. CULLEN MIMS had 3 sons.
