If any of you go to the Prattville Hist.Soc.Museum/Lib. be sure to look up Lenore Kirkpatrick. She descends from Wilbur Fisk Mims and Shadrack. We met her and jumped into our car and showed us all around at the Shadrach Mims house, the Mims Hotel (that was etched in the front door saying "est.1843") and telling us stories abt the family that you would never find anywhere. When you walk into the Library you turn right into the "Mims"room and there hangs 2 huge pictures of Shadrach and Elizabeth (Dowsing). It was a very fun day. Info: Oak Hill Cem.
