"the information of Elizabeth Mims on oath declaring that alice Bond,Rachel Bond and Nicholas Bond came on the 2nd day of Sept in the forenoon to the house where she and her busband WILLIAM MIMS lived. That the said alice and Rachel Bond had cljubs in their hands and that the said Nicholas had a large pocket knife; that said Rachel dared this deponent and her daughter,Mary Snead, to fight; that Rachel did strike her daughter Mary, on which the deponent told her the said Rachel not to strike her dtr Mary. for Mary was with child and instantly endeavored to part them when the said Alice advanced and struck this deponent and her 2 dtrs Mary Snead and Susanna Dearman with a club, at such time WILLIAM MIMS came out to their assistance. Immediately on the said Williams appearance the said Rachel struck him 4 blows with a club. alice Bond then called on Nicholas to come on and "lets kill them".
