Jeanne, Did you ever find the source of this info (regarding Littleton & Sylvia)? At one time, I believe you told me you found this info on Ancestry.com. I would love to know who submitted this info to Ancestry since Sylvia is my g-g-grandmother. As far as Littleton being the father of Matthew, that has never been proven (to my knowledge) and is purely speculation. Sylvia is the mother of Matthew, although there is no confirmation that her maiden name was actually RAINES (again, speculation). Matthew did have a son named Pinckney. His full name was Marshall Pinckney MIMS (b. 10-30-1884; d. 1-18-1964). He is buried in Steep Hollow Cemetery, near Bryan, TX. I have dates on Matthew and his wife also, if anyone is interested. I'm still hoping that some day someone will be able to help me with this family.
