Hi Again, My wife, Susan M. Jenkins, is the GGG Granddaughter of Daniel Mimms who lived in Lincolnshire, England in the early 1800's. Susan's GG Grandfather, William Mimms, immigrated to the (Monroe County), Rochester, New York area around 1850. Most of these Mimms descendants now live in the New York City area. Susan and I have been on the Mims-L list for about two years. We hope to find the connection between her Mimms family and some of the other Mim(m)s who trace their European origins to an earlier time period.
