I have been on the list since a few hours or days after it started. I have enjoyed the people greatly. That is the reason I am still here. I have about given up getting any information about my connections but here is another try. The information I need is about John MIMS, son of John, and his wife Sarah HORN. (In Leaves Part III he is known as John 4-B) He was born 1731. He married Sarah HORN and my HORN line came from the same area so I believe that HORN connection with MIMS is my line. I have yet to connect her to my HORNS but they were all in the same county at one point. If anyone knows about John MIMS marry. On the same MIMS tree, several branches later, there are two in-laws that connect the MIMS/KIMMEY lines. They are a side branch to my KIMMEY line. Harriett MIMS married my gggGrandfather John Mason KIMMEY after my gggGrandmother COLLINS died. Narcissa, a daughter of John KIMMEY married Abijah MIMS, the brother of Harriett. These two MIMS are: Harriett Jane MIMS, b. 1822 in Darlington District, SC., m. Dale Co., AL., d. Angelina Co., TX. Abijah MIMS, b. 1811 in Darlington District, SC., m. Dale Co., AL. Thank you Ann and others for your efforts for the MIMS list. Howard Ford
