Nathaniel was first married to Margaret Sherwood in 1869. (3)AMANDA M. MIMS b. circa 1828 GA, married Samuel Washington Glover. He was born circa 1812 ,IN. We know that Samuel Washington Glover and Amanda M. Mims had at least 3 daughters, my Nancy b. ca 1853,who married Nathaniel Henthorne; Mary, b. ca 1858, who married Thomas Meyers in 1876 in Pulaski Co., AR. and Sarah, b. ca 1856, who I believe married William Fuller. I am going to have to check into this one... I have GLOVERS in Arkansas also. They were in Hempstead and Saline counties. I have Nanct Ann Glover b 1847 in TN, married Josiah Mc Gee BLAND, who was in the Civil War and when he was wounded he helped the doctor and became one after the war. Nancy had a brother James L. Glover who married Ann Bland. Other related names were Reed and Draper. I have a stack of photocopies of census for the area that I haven't even opened the boxes yet (moms stuff). I suppose going through them might be a good idea... Oh no, not another task! Where is that Calgon... take me away.
