I am still in search of my elusive Mims. My grandfather: Samuel Glover Henthorne, b. 1894 His parents: Nancy M. Glover and Nathaniel Henthorn Nancy born ca 1853-1855, she married 1885. Parents of Nancy Mims Glover were Samuel W. Glover and Amanda MIMS. Amanda born ca 1828 in Georgia. Some say father of Amanda Mims was Samuel Mims. Others list Otto Mims. One document I have has a note written "Otto Mims a relative". Also a notation of more names which I have no idea where they fit in my family tree: Mozella Mims Jasper Mims (doctor) Newton Mims Amanda is usually listed as Amanda M. Some list her as Amanda Mozella Mims/Glover. Maholey is another name associated with this family. Love to have some definite material on this bunch!
