I had it some where that his step mother was a Letcher. Does anyone know about this? Letcher is my mother's line and that would make me a double cousin how ever far down the line. All you need do is send an email to MIMS-L-request@rootsweb.com Leave the subject blank and write "unsubscribe" without the quotes in the body of the message. Maybe if we subscribe again after a few weeks the list will be back as it should be. That's what I plan to do. Hope we get the list back soon.
I tried this link and it does not work. Please remove me from this list.... I have better things to do than read a bunch of junk! Dear List, Has anyone done research on the children of Jesse Mims b. ca 1780 in Richmond, NC? I am especially interested in Jesse's son, William, b. ca 1845. They are in Laurens County, GA. Part of the family relocates to Sumter County, FL. Any tidbits, clues, or leads would be appreciated! Thanks! Joey

I subscribe to several lists, this is the worst one lately. I had 18 emails and none of them had anything to do with Mims geneaology. Can we at least get back on the subject of Mims family and cut out the personal stuff.
