There were 2 Williamson Mims, and haven't found the relationship to one another. The eldest was from Appling County originally and moved to Bibbs, Houston and Dooly counties. The younger married in Thomas County 11 May 1851 and he did live in Monroe County. Hello Mims Gang: Don't let John Mimms fool you because I know for a fact that he is a fine golfer and an even better BBQ and hushpuppy eater! I'm Stephen (Steve) S. Mims of Moscow, Idaho and I've been on this list for a while and have enjoyed corresponding with all of our fine Mims-related cousins. I am a North Carolina native, having moved to Idaho about 17 years ago. Seven generations of my Mims line lived in Chatham/Wake Counties N.C. so that is the "clan" of Mimses that I am particularly interested in.
