Looking for info on the Sim/Seem family from Ida, MI. Herman/Harmon Sim/Seem born in OH 1/26/1834 d. 9/9/1919 Dundee, MI. wife Mary Jane Myers b.1833 OH d. 7/21/1921 MI. Children: John, Samuel, Mary Ella, Edward, Harmon, Lena, Eliz., Wilbert (born and died in OH), Martin and Emma Seem. Children married in Monroe County, MI. between 1880's-1890's. Harmon/Herman moved family to MI. from Wood County OH in 1850's. Buried in Pleasantview Cemetery, Summerfield Twp. Petersburg, MI. (still working with MI. to get proof of this). Herman/Harmon was a Veteran of the Civil War. I did find Harmon/Mary Jane Seem in the 1910 Ida Twp. Monroe County Census. Some documents show Harmon as H.P. Seem on his kids marriage licenses.
