He had been in poor health for five years. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Earle Little Funeral Home, Bacarella Chapel, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Ernest Fultz, pastor of Petersburg Missionary Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery, Lyons, Ohio. Born Jan. 13, 1951, in Erie, he was the son of Rossie and Harriet "Hattie" (Perry) Grodi. He married Rebecca K. Blake May 7, 1976, in Erie. Surviving are a son, Ross J. Jr. of Bowling Green, Ohio; two half-brothers, Ben Blakesley of Detroit and Jim Blakesley of West Branch; three sisters, Janis Reed of Strunk, Ky., and Gayle Smith and Carol Sharrow, both of Toledo, and four grandchildren.
