Hi Folks, Can someone do a lookup of a Cooley family living in Monroe in 1860 and 1870 for me please? I don't know what the head of the households name is, but there should be a son named Louis or Lewis Cooley that's about 7 or 8 years old in the 1860 Census and 17 or 18 in the 1870 Census. The Blessing family had moved to Monroe Co., MI by 1910 and spent the remainder of their lives there. Harry & Jennie are buried at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery, LaSalle, MI according to their death certificates. Jennie had a number of children by her 1st husband, Mr. Stough. She married Fredrick Ferrie on 31 Aug 1848 in Monroe Co., MI. She is my g-g-grandfather's sister. Their parents were Nathan and Ann Dayton Watkins. Nathan dies on 12 Jan 1842 in Bedford, MI. Ann remarries William Olney. I have Nathan's probate records with this information and all of the children's names. Another daughter, Alvira Watkins marries Merrill Bragdon, and they live in Bedford through the 1880 census.
