My paternal great-grandfather was Joseph Kuich, married to Mary Hansen. I think that they were originally from the Minnesota area and he was the only Kuich from his family who emigrated to Canada and farmed in Alberta. I believe that Mary Hansen's parents were also named Mary and Joseph and were from Denmark. We have had a difficult time finding information about Joseph and Mary Kuich's family as they remained in the U.S. and nothing was said about them.
