My great grandfather Moise Baril (Mose Barry who was born Louis Augustin Moise Baril) lived in Powers, Spalding Twp., Menominee Co., MI in 1880 until his death in 1897. He married in 1880 to Laura ST.VINCENT/CHEMEREAU He had a brother, Napoleon BERRY (anglicized corruption of Baril spelling) who was a hotel keeper in Spalding. Mose (Moise Baril/Barry) also had two other brothers living in the U.P. and I am trying to find THEIR information! Supposedly they lived in Escanaba or Munising and one of them was an attorney.
