The last year I found my grt grt grt grandfather, Harvey Hoyt, was in 1881 when he married for the 3rd time to Catharine Hill in Powers, Menominee co. MI. I've lost track of him after that. Does anyone have access to the 1885 MI state census and would they mind looking for him if it's not too much trouble? I have been trying to find his date and place of death FOREVER! Wrote to the state of Michigan and they said they didn't have a death record. I think I also wrote to Menominee county and they said the same. If I could just find him in 1885 I'd at least know he was still living. He's been very elusive! Thanks for any help, Claudia Schuman
