Isn't it sad that we HAVE to do this when an option that takes seconds to employ is there to be used? But, I agree, you could use the filters and use the folders.....but I do not have the option to use either.... It has to do with being at different machines in different cable and telephone line areas.... a real bummer.... the Prepend is SOOOOOOOO much simpler.... Date: Thu, 4 Apr 2002 19:41:14 -0600 Hi All, One way I solved this problem (no prepend) is I created a folder under my inbox and set the settings so whenever I get mail with MIMENOMI-L in the address line, it automatically gets moved into my MenomineeList folder. I have several of these folders set up as I am on numerous lists and get several hundred e-mails a day and I needed to find a way to separate my important e-mail from all that junk mail. This method also makes deleting all the junk a lot easier because I don't have to be careful when deleting. Now all my important mail safely goes into it's designated folder. To do this in Outlook or Outlook express, just go to tools and click on rules wizard. It walks you right though and only takes a few minutes to set up and you can create as many different folder and subfolders as you need. At least by having the e-mails from this list automatically moved into it's own folder, you'll have a way of knowing it's from this list before you even open it.
