Bob, I too am from Marinette and from the layout you described, I have to agree that the old 300 block is now current day 600 block. I was going to take a drive over this week and "scout out" the area because the only church I remember in that area is what is now the Museum on the next block (excluding the two existing churches in that area). Also, the spot where the Middle school now stands used to be the old Menominee City Cemetery, so that is probably why even on the old maps, it looks like there were no buildings in the 900 & 1000 blocks.
