Good idea, Colleen! SURNAMES in Menominee area: ALT, SCHNEIDER/SNYDER, WAGNER (all were German Lutherans from Bavaria) FAMILY MEMBERS: According to the Menominee/Marinette city directories, Wilhelmine (Wagner) Schneider lived in Menominee from approximately 1887-1901. One of her daughters, Wilhelmine (Schneider) Alt, lived there in the early 1980's and we can account for another daughter, Annie Schneider, from 1887-1889. We are unable to figure out what happened to Annie, since no marriage or death record for her has been found. Vanished without a trace!
