I am writing because of an article in the Better Homes and Gardens Issue April, 2002. This is the American answer to the "1900's House", WNET production "FRONTIER HOUSE". You can see a slide show at www.bhg.con/frontier Apparently, the documentary will air on some PBS stations on April 29, 30 and May 1, 2002. It might give us a little more insite on how hard life was in the 1880's after the early generations arrived here from their homelands...... of course it might have been like this even for those that arrived much earlier.....
