Hello, Archie Leinen and Esima Hamel, both residents of Hancock, Houghton County MI were first married Sept. 7, 1918. Esima was the daughter of Joseph Hamel and Genevieve Homier who married in L'Anse, MI. Apparantly, the first marriage was by a justice of the peace because I found a marriage record for the same couple married Oct. 16, 1920 at same place and I assume this was a "church wedding." Family says they eventually moved to Menominee, MI. I am looking for any children's birth, death, or marriages of this couple. And I would also need death dates for both Archie and Esima. Esima is my husband's aunt. Esima was the oldest of 9 children, born circa 1899. Thank you. Luanne Golden Hamel
