"Jack Skrip" Skrzypinski, 77, will begin with prayers at 9 a.m. Wednesday, at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda illinois, and proceed to Transfiguration Church, 348 W. Mill St., Wauconda, where Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Born July 25, 1925, in Stephenson, Mich., he died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in North Chicago illinois lake county. Interment will be in Wauconda Cemetery. Mr. Skrzypinski was a retired tool and die maker. An Army veteran of World War II, he was held as a prisoner of war in Germany. Jack was a member of the Wauconda Moose Lodge and American Legion Post 911 in Wauconda. He was the beloved husband of Josephine (nee Michalec); loving father of Jacqueline (Thomas) Pfrommer, Judith (the late Robert) Orloski and Douglas (Kim) Skrzypinski; proud grandfather of Jason and Amy; cherish! ed son of the late Thomas and Frances Skrzypinski; and dear brother of Chester (Rose), Stanley (Agnes) and Michael (Marcy) Skrzypinski, Helen (the late George) Gomski, Phyllis (the late Walter) Gressic, Mary (the late Bud) Russell, Blanche (Emil) Fritz, and the late John, Jenny, Stella and Josephine.
