My records from an obit indicates he was born in Norway in August 1851 - Lena was born in Norway in June 1858. I think they lived in either Dagget or Stephenson MI, but if your looking for land records going back to 1812 these wouldn't be the same folks - I do have some pictures if anyone is interested.
