Hello everyone, I definitely have a brick wall challenge in my genealogical life. He is my grandmother's brother Johan Alfred Nelson, nicknamed 'Fred' and he was born in Skaraborg Sweden 1862 and emigrated before 1894 to live in Menominee MI. He married 16 March 1894 in Menominee, Christina Carlson (whose father was Charles Johnson of Finland). My grandmother Anna (his sister) and grandfather and Ole Olsson Haglund were his witnesses. Fred and Christina had two sons - Walter and unknown. Fred abandoned this family and Christina married Mauritz or Maurice Flood in 1901 or 1902 and had two daughters and I believe their names were Ethel and Myrtle.
