Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/RGB.2ACI/343.1 Message Board Post: Could you give us any dates connected with James WILLIAMS and his family? We are wondering if there is any connection between them and George G. WILLIAMS, who probably lived in Menominee MI or in Marinette WI, just across the river. We have no dates for him, but he married Margaret /Maggie VIAU somewhere in that area, probably before 1900. The only date we have is for Maggie's birth, which was 23 Dec. 1874 in Malone, Franklin Co NY. Her parents were Angenor VIAU and Esther /Minna BOYER, who moved their family from NY sometime before July 1884. George and Maggie had 4 known children, who were probably b. in the Marinette - Menominee area: Gordon WILLIAMS [mar. Melva HALVERSON]; Catherine WILLIAMS [mar. Dr. John Buckley]; Ann Margaret /Maggie WILLIAMS [mar. David BLISS]; and George WILLIAMS [mar. Eva DEBASCUS]. Some of these children later lived in Beloit, Rock Co. WI, where George & Maggie are bur. in Calvary Cemetery. Please contact us with any additions or corrections, happy to exchange further info.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/RGB.2ACI/322.1.2.1.1 Message Board Post: Many spelled this name existing : STRUDINSKI, STROUDINSKY, STRUZINSKI, STRUSINSKI. The STRUDZINSKI family is one part from the Lubicz clan, His the same coats and arms. The year of origine : 1436 in the province Mazovie in Poland. My ancestor Jan STRUDZINSKI was ennobled in 1791 by King Stanislas Augustus II, King of Poland. The historian Ostrowski gives the date of 23 décember 1791 for the ennoblement. I think that is a confirmation for the ennoblement of the Strudzinsky family before the middle âge. At the 18 ème century my family lives in Stanislawow, little city near Lvov (Léopold or Lemberg). The name of my oldest ancestor was Daniel Strudzinski and his wife's was Marie Giniska. They lived in 1760 in Galicie(Stanislawow). Their son Ignacy Strudzinski was born around 1782 in Stanislawow. He come in France (Lorraine) in 1809. He was military by the régiment of Prince Poniatowski (Poland régiment). At the time of his wedding with Marie-Jeanne Marlier (16/11/1780) his name was modified in french Stroudinski. My généalogy : - Daniel STRUDZINSKI and Marie GINISKA (around 1755). - Ignacy STRUDZINSKI-(Stroudinsky) and Marie-Jeanne MARLIER : 4 girls : Françoise,Anne, Ursule and Rose - Françoise STROUDINSKY (20/3/1819-?) - George-Auguste STROUDINSKY (natural children) (19/4/1843-?) and Marie-Catherine DURAND : 4 childrens : Marie-Augustine, Marie-Emilie (13/5/1879-?), Sidonie (1/7/1877-?).
