Don't make sense for that period. Your Grandmothers name was Katherine, married name Cartwright, right? What was your Grandfathers given name? My Grandfather Lawrence was your Grandmothers brother. Let me know something, please.

I am looking for information on those that are buried in "Millon Township Cemetery, Menominee County" The information I have has the township spelled wrong so I hope the correct spelling is Mellen . I am looking for James Gauley who died 30 Dec 1932 and the information I have is that it is Millon Township Cemetery. Can anyone do a Cemetery Lookup and perhaps tell me the Cemetery name, I don't think it is right either, and tell me if he is there. Or perhaps there are Gauley/Gawley family members on this list.. Search the LaDue boards for a message from Cheryl Lozier dated 6/10/99. She shows John H. LaDue b. 1852, d. 1918 Mt. Pleasant Cemetary, Port Byron, NY. Looks like he had at least a couple of wives with children from both. In any case, the John LaDue I have has Abram and Barbara (Scott) as parents. Although I don't have anymore info for John, his parents as well as his siblings all died and are buried in Carson City, MI. You may want look there for him. Hope this helps.
