If any body has anything on the Vachon's I could use it. One of Alphonse's children is Clothide Lamarche born march 4,1884. married Armados Vachon, born march 1, 1887. Married december 31,1898. They had 7 chidren, Elizabeth, Edna, Nelita, Elda, Vera, Beatrice and Edmund. Elda was born january 14, 1908. Married Floyd Clifton, born april 12, 1905. This makes Elda my great grandmother. The Prepend setting is merely a matter of checking a box on the List Utility page but it can only be done by the list administrator and it applies to all messages that come through the list in both single and digest mode. I am the administrator for 5 other lists and have access to the person who oversees the operation of ALL Rootsweb lists. Since it appears that no one has heard back from anyone about the prepend request, I'll check with her to see if this list is one of the orphans that functions without anyone at the helm. My thoughts on subject lines may or may not be related to prepends. Here they are: I'd much rather see a subject line like "Re: Boyer 1870's Gardiner MI" than a too-easy-but-uninformative, reply subject line, such as "Re: MIMENOM-L#78" -- who but an addicted genealogist would want to open such a message?
