    3. I believe that there is a book called surnames in Michigan. I could be mistaken, but, it seems like I saw a copy of it at our local genealogy society. Not sure when it was published or who by, but, if you are interested I could find that out next time I am there and maybe you could find a copy of it. Aside from this book I just mentioned, we do have a MIGenWeb search engine that will search the whole MIGenWeb for surnames, if you want to try that and haven't already.
